Fire Detection
FireProtect features a photoelectric sensor to detect smoke. If no smoke is detected, the built-in heat sensor monitors for sudden temperature increases. When the temperature surpasses 60°C or rises by 30°C within 30 minutes, FireProtect identifies it as a critical spike and triggers an alarm, ensuring comprehensive fire detection even under low-smoke conditions.
False Alarm Prevention
To reduce false alarms, FireProtect employs the HazeFlow algorithm—a specialised software solution for verifying smoke. The system disregards the initial detection and only triggers the alarm if smoke is still present after 30 seconds during a second check.
Interconnected Fire Alarms
FireProtect supports interconnected fire alarms, meaning if any single detector in the system is triggered, all built-in buzzers activate across every device. This ensures a rapid, system-wide alert that can warn as many people as possible in the event of a fire.
